Supplication while slaughtering sacrificial animal

“Verily, I follow the religion of Ibrahim, who was Hanifa (worshipping none but Allah Alone), having turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth, and I am not of Al-Mushrikun. Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists). He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims. O Allah, this is from You and this is for You, accept it from Muhammad and his ummat (people), I slaughter in the name of Allah and Allah is the greatest.”

[Sunan Abu Dawud – 2795]
